ISO 22301 is the international standard for business continuity management. It’s designed to protect our business from potential disruption. It showcases that, in the event of an emergency, we can mitigate damage and continue operating. It specifies requirements to plan, establish, implement, operate, monitor, review, maintain and continually improve a documented management system to prepare for, respond to and recover from disruptive events like natural disasters, environmental accidents, technology mishaps and man-made crises.
The ISO 22301 management system lets Ekco identify threats relevant to the critical business functions and ensures Ekco has plans in place ahead of time to ensure our business, and the services we deliver to customers, does not come to a standstill.

Ekco is certified to NEN 7510 for certain services that we provide.
The NEN 7510 comprises additional personal privacy and confidentiality regulations for healthcare providers, in addition to the GDPR.
NEN 7510 is a set of standards, outlining practices and mandatory requirements for processing personal data, with an emphasis on confidentiality and accountability. It also offers measures and standards to identify risks to ensure the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of secured data. The standards also ensure that data owners can decide what information can be shared, and to which providers.

International Standard on Assurance Engagements (UK) 3000 (ISAE 3000) is an internationally recognised standard on controls assurance. ISAE 3000 is part of a family of related standards, collectively referred to as ‘SOC (System and Organisation Controls) reporting’. The subject matter of SOC2 reports (including ISAE 3000) covers internal controls over business and IT processes. By taking advantage of the broad framework ISAE 3000 provides, Ekco has the flexibility to choose the control areas most relevant to our internal operations and the associated services we deliver to customers.
