Ekco opens new Dublin HQ and Security Operations Centre, setting the stage for major growth in 2025

Today marks an important milestone for Ekco as we announce the official launch of our new Dublin headquarters and dedicated Security Operations Centre, located in the heart of Grand Canal Dock, Dublin 2.

This formal launch represents far more than a new address. It reflects our continued investment in Ireland, our ambition for significant growth, and our commitment to strengthening cyber resilience for organisations here and around the world.

Ekco Ireland CEO, Steve MacNicholas

A new chapter for Ekco in Ireland

Ireland has become a core hub for Ekco as we continue to accelerate both our acquisition strategy and our organic growth. We are targeting revenues of more than 100 million euro in Ireland by the end of 2025 with global revenues expected to exceed 200 million euro within the same period. The new HQ provides the scale and flexibility needed to support this expansion.

The building brings together approximately 500 employees from across seven recent acquisitions in Ireland. This central hub strengthens collaboration across cloud, cybersecurity, compliance, and managed services teams. A unified base enables us to develop more cohesive solutions, streamline service delivery, and serve customers with even greater agility.

Introducing our state of the art SOC in Dublin

At the core of the new HQ is Ekco’s third global Security Operations Centre, expanding our established capabilities in the UK and Malaysia. Demand for advanced cybersecurity services has risen sharply in recent years. The new SOC has been designed to meet that demand with a blend of expert analysts, advanced threat detection technology, and expanded incident response capacity.

The team is already handling more than double the volume of potential security incidents compared with six months ago. Automated response capabilities allow the SOC to isolate affected devices when serious threats are detected which helps reduce dwell time and limits business impact. This model supports customers as they navigate stricter regulatory requirements and the rising complexity of cyber risk.

Supporting customers in a changing landscape

Cybersecurity, cloud modernisation, and compliance have become interlinked priorities for organisations of every size. The combination of our new HQ and SOC strengthens our ability to deliver a complete security first managed service offering. It also gives us the capacity to serve a growing customer base across public sector, finance, legal, and professional services.

This investment also supports our broader international strategy. Ekco continues to grow its footprint across the UK, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the United States as organisations seek partners who can provide resilience across a distributed digital landscape.

A message from Ekco leadership

Steve MacNicholas, CEO Ireland, remarked that the new headquarters is a clear signal of Ekco’s commitment to safeguarding businesses.

“We are on an exciting acquisition path, supplemented by planned organic growth, and this new hub will provide a central location for employees to collaborate. Furthermore, as our team continues to grow internationally, this state-of-the-art facility cements our commitment to Ireland as a leader in cybersecurity.

The launch of our third SOC represents a significant step for our business as we look to meet the ever-increasing demand for future-ready cybersecurity services. This will enable us to deliver an enhanced service to our customers, ultimately helping businesses to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats, and provide our solutions to an increased client base.”

Looking ahead

The launch of our Dublin HQ and SOC is the next step in Ekco’s mission to protect organisations with modern, proactive, and scalable security. It enhances the experience for our customers, creates new opportunities for our people, and strengthens Ireland’s position as a centre of cybersecurity excellence.
